This email appeared in our inbox asking for our thoughts on why event videographers / filmmakers don' get paid as much as photographers. We thought we share our response here as well.  Feel free to chime in with a comment.

"I am an event videographer and have been shooting weddings for just over 4 years. I wanted to ask you guys a question since you have put so much time into your craft. I've noticed brides will pay way more for photography vs. video even though the work we do is much more labor intensive (in my experience). I wanted to know why you guys have not decided to do photography instead? There seems to be so much more money in wedding photography, I dont see why we should spend so much time doing edits and ............
